What is True Christianity?

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Drawing on Paul’s letter to the Galatians, Austin-Sparks asks whether Christianity is a legal system or a spiritual life from heaven. He traces its new order through the inward revelation of Christ and the believer’s life with Him, and gathers its purpose into Paul’s longing that Christ be fully formed in believers and the Church. The reader is called to measure Christian life and teaching by how much of Christ they reveal.
