Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

Taking John 12:37–41 and Isaiah 6 as its starting point, this work considers Isaiah’s vision of the exalted Christ and God’s purpose to form a people for His Son. It calls the Church to keep that purpose in view, to meet the Lord with Isaiah’s “Woe!”, receive His cleansing “Lo!”, and answer His commission: “Go.” First published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines 1959 (Volumes 37-1 - 37-3).
