What is Man?

What is Man?

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening with Psalm 8 and Hebrews 2, “What is Man?” considers humanity’s God-given destiny and how the Fall disrupted human nature and its relation to God. It distinguishes spirit, soul, and body, and follows the consequences for sanctification, deception, dominion, and resurrection. The reader is called to seek spiritual understanding through revelation and to live under the Holy Spirit’s direction in Christ.
