Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“Union With Christ in Resurrection” presents union with the risen Lord as the New Testament’s supreme message and the way God’s purpose is accomplished in the Church, Christ’s Body. Opening with Romans 8:1, 1 Corinthians 6:17, and Galatians 2:20, Austin-Sparks traces resurrection power from Christ’s victory to the Church’s hope of glory. He calls readers to know Christ through suffering and to press toward likeness to Him in moral and spiritual fullness.
