The Work of God at the End-Time

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening with Simeon and Anna in Luke 2, Austin-Sparks considers how God works amid the upheaval and spiritual testing of an end-time. He traces the importance of vision, the preparation and marks of a servant, and Simeon’s ministry of presenting Christ in fullness. The message calls readers to let the meaning of Christ be deeply wrought in them through testing, so their service carries lasting spiritual significance. End-Time Principles Set Forth in Simeon.
