Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“The Way of the Holy Spirit” considers the Spirit’s sovereign work, His purpose of glorifying Christ, and the evidence of His presence as the life of Christ takes shape in believers. Opening with Jesus’ image of the wind in John 3, Austin-Sparks turns to Christ as the Prince of Life and to Israel’s demand for Saul as a warning about choosing human alternatives to God’s best. The chapters call readers to know Christ by the Spirit and to remain under God’s rule.
