Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

Opening with 1 John 5:4–5, “The Victory That Overcomes” explores faith as the means by which believers overcome the world and every obstacle to life with God. Through Hebrews 11 and the picture of the Lord exalted on the throne, it calls readers to a positive, trusting walk with Christ and to share in God’s purpose despite the world’s hostility.
