The Unveiling of Jesus Christ

The Unveiling of Jesus Christ

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening from Revelation 1:1, Austin-Sparks presents the unveiling of Jesus Christ as God’s answer to spiritual decline, weakness, and suffering. Reading Revelation through its spiritual principles and symbols, he traces how recovery begins with Christ and the Cross, and points toward God’s purpose to bring history to its consummation under Christ’s rule. The message calls Christians back to their first ground and to renewed testimony to Him.
