The Spiritual Clinic

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

“The Spiritual Clinic” considers spiritual paralysis arising from disappointed expectations, disorder in the Body of Christ, and confusion between natural weakness and spiritual trouble. Opening with biblical examples of frustrated hopes and Paul’s diagnosis of the Corinthians, it calls readers to receive God’s heavenly perspective, follow the Holy Spirit’s ordering, and live in the reality of oneness with Christ and mutual relatedness among believers. First published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1946-47. Austin-Sparks.Net also has another version of this book: The Spiritual Clinic (1928).
