Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

Opening from Romans 8:2, Austin-Sparks presents the Spirit’s law of life as the inward reality of Christ’s resurrection. He traces the order from faith in the believer’s inclusion in Christ’s death to receiving His risen life, through which the Cross becomes effective in experience. The reader is called to trust and obey this life, allowing it to overcome sin, strained relationships, and division in the church. First published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1928.
