The Sons of Levi

The Sons of Levi

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening with Romans 8:15–30 and God’s settled purpose, these messages trace the sons of Levi as a pattern of a spiritual, representative people, entrusted with the way of life and the testimony of God’s Name. They point to Christ as the true servant and to God’s supreme concern, the new creation in Christ, calling believers to purification and wholehearted service, free of personal interests, for God’s purposes. From conference messages given during WWII, possibly in 1943. Edited and supplied by the Golden Candlestick Trust.
