Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“The Persistent Purpose of God” reads Ezekiel’s visions through the principle that God’s final purpose is already present in His beginnings. It follows the prophet’s preparation and visions of the throne, the living ones, and God’s house, tracing how the Cross, the Spirit, and the church point toward God’s dwelling among His people. It calls readers to see and serve that purpose under an open heaven. Transcribed from conference messages given in Taipei, Taiwan in January 1957. The spoken form has been retained verbatim.
