The Pathway of the Heavenly Vision

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

“The Pathway of the Heavenly Vision” follows Abraham as a pattern of God’s purpose to form a heavenly people in Christ, the promised Seed. From the call to leave his old realm and the heart’s circumcision to the Cross, resurrection, and the offering of Isaac in Genesis 22, Austin-Sparks traces the law of heavenliness. The reader is called to relinquish the natural life and live by faith in God’s heavenly purpose. From unpublished manuscripts. Published on the web in September 2010.
