Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“The Octave of Redemption” follows eight connected movements in God’s redemptive purpose, from the incarnation and earthly life of Jesus through the cross, resurrection appearances, ascension, the Holy Spirit, and the Church to Christ’s return. Opening with Ephesians’ declaration that truth is in Jesus, Austin-Sparks presents Christ Himself as the centre and completion of redemption, and calls readers to know Him in living union and to share in God’s purpose for His people.
