Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“The Letters of Peter” follows the change from earthly hopes to the heavenly realm opened by Christ’s death and resurrection, beginning with 1 Peter’s living hope. It considers faith amid trials, the salvation of the soul, and the blessings and power of this new life, then turns to 2 Peter’s call to spiritual growth and steadfastness. Readers are urged to pursue the knowledge of the Lord with diligence and to be established in the present truth.
