The Holy Spirit

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

“The Holy Spirit” presents the Spirit’s one purpose as bringing God into expression, fulfilled supremely in Jesus Christ, and His object as revealing Christ inwardly and forming believers according to Him. Opening with Scripture on creation and God’s glory, Austin-Sparks calls readers beyond knowledge of doctrines and outward religious forms to a life progressively conformed to Christ, so the Church may express His nature. Edited and supplied by the Golden Candlestick Trust.
