Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“The Gold of the Sanctuary” considers the incorruptible values God seeks in Christ and in the lives of his people, opening with 2 Timothy 1:8–10 and Christ’s bringing life and incorruption to light. It traces heaven as Christ’s source and distinctive resource, the spiritual energy of his purposeful life, and the glory that crowns what endures, then explores humanity’s place in God’s testimony and its calling to grow toward the full stature of Christ.
