The Glory of God

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening with Jesus’ words in John 11, “The Glory of God” traces God’s purpose through the raising of Lazarus and the death and resurrection of Christ: His ways, even through sorrow and trial, lead to glory, found in the newness of resurrection life. It calls readers to live under the Father’s glory, follow the Lord of glory, and know the Spirit of glory at work in them. First published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1971 Volumes 49-4 - 49-6.
