Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

Austin-Sparks reads the Bible through the theme of spiritual life and death, tracing eternal life from the Tree of Life in Genesis to its fulfilment in Christ, the true God and Life. He follows Christ as the last Adam who secures life through faith and obedience, and as Lord in the historical books. The message calls readers to receive life in Christ and walk in accord with His lordship.
