Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“Partnership With Christ” presents Hebrews’ heavenly calling as participation in Christ’s exaltation and inheritance, using Joshua’s entry into the land to illuminate the way toward God’s rest and fullness. It opens with Hebrews 3:14–15 and Joshua 1, and calls readers to hold fast in faith, heed God’s call to go on, and take active steps of obedience toward the goal. From "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1936-1937.
