Men Whose Eyes Have Seen the King

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening with the Transfiguration in Matthew 17, “Men Whose Eyes Have Seen the King” explores how seeing Christ in glory shapes Christian life, witness, and endurance. Drawing also on Ezekiel’s vision of the throne and the New Testament’s teaching on new birth and transformation, it calls readers to behold the Lord, live in the power of His presence, and recognize that He reigns now. First published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1959-1960.
