Jesus Glorified - the Spirit Given

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening with Jesus’ promise of rivers of living water in John 7:37–39, Austin-Sparks connects the Spirit’s coming with Jesus glorified. He traces the Spirit’s work through faith, the Cross, union with Christ, and the church as Christ’s Body, showing believers called to live by the Spirit’s supernatural fulness and become a sanctuary in which God dwells and is glorified.
