Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“Incorporated into Christ” explores the believer’s union with Christ, from the New Testament’s all-inclusive “in Christ” to sharing His death, resurrection, ascension, and glory. Drawing on passages including Romans 6, 2 Corinthians 4, and Psalm 87, Austin-Sparks presents the church as Christ’s Body and calls readers to live by God’s life and resources, leaving behind the natural self-reliance that frustrates His purpose.
