Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

“In Christ” traces the New Testament’s all-embracing reality of life in Christ through union with His death, resurrection, ascension, and glory. Opening with the contrast between life “in Adam” and “in Christ,” it draws on Romans 6 and other Scriptures to show how the Cross deals with the natural life and resurrection supplies new life. It calls readers to live and serve by this heavenly life, trusting God to bring His purpose to completion.
