Horizoned by Life

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

“Horizoned by Life” presents divine life as the Bible’s governing theme, from the tree of life in Genesis to its appearance in Revelation, and distinguishes it from natural life. Austin-Sparks considers the signs of spiritual vitality—freshness, growth, reproduction, relatedness, function, and energy—and calls readers to live as a growing, fruitful body, sharing the life that comes only from life. First published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1964-65.
