Horizoned by Glory

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

“Horizoned by Glory” presents glory as the satisfaction of God’s nature, fully revealed in Christ and intended as the horizon of creation and redemption. Opening with the Father, Son, and Spirit as the God, Lord, and Spirit of glory, it traces how Christ’s work brings blessing, while resistance to God’s ways brings judgment. It calls readers to rest in Christ and to let Him have the place of God’s good pleasure. First published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1965.
