Faith's Inheritance

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

“Faith’s Inheritance” reads the book of Ruth as a compact picture of God’s plan of redemption: from human loss and hopelessness to redemption through resurrection, and the raising up of the dead upon an inheritance. Ruth’s journey from Moab to Bethlehem shows faith venturing into the unknown, and calls readers to leave self-seeking behind and follow God toward the fullness of life in Christ.
