Factors in Our Relationship With God

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

“Factors in Our Relationship With God” considers light, life, obedience, truth, and sacrifice as essential to fellowship with God. Opening with John 1 and Scripture’s call to believe in the light, Austin-Sparks connects spiritual understanding with obedient faith, then explores truth within the heart and the sacrificial pattern of Christ, the grain of wheat who dies to bear fruit. Readers are called to receive and obey God’s truth and follow Christ’s way of sacrifice toward His purposes.
