Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

Daily Open Windows presents twelve monthly readings on God’s purpose in Christ and the spiritual life that comes through inward revelation. Opening with Romans 8:28, the selections consider themes including God’s love, spiritual sight, endurance through trial, resurrection life, and love that builds the Church. They call readers to look beyond outward religion and self-reliance, seek Christ’s life and light, and go on with God in faith. Excerpts from the messages of T. Austin-Sparks. “The best that I can hope is that this has just opened a window, and that as you look through it you are seeing one thing – how superior is Jesus Christ to all else!” T. Austin-Sparks.
