Called into the Fellowship of His Son

Called into the Fellowship of His Son

Theodore Austin-Sparks (1888–1971) was a British evangelist and author. Born in London, he became a Christian at seventeen while listening to street-preachers in Glasgow, and was ordained a Baptist minister at twenty-four. In 1926 he left the denomination and, with like-minded Christians, founded a conference and training centre at Honor Oak in south-east London. From there he published the free magazine "A Witness and A Testimony" until his death, and his conference ministry took him across Europe, North America and Asia. He asked that his messages be shared freely and word for word. Source: Wikipedia (summarized; CC BY-SA)

About this book

Opening with 1 Corinthians 1:9, Austin-Sparks considers the call into fellowship with God’s Son through its Person, people, purpose, process, prospect, and peril. He points to a life shaped by Christ and prepared to share His reign, while warning that confusion makes spiritual sight essential. The call presses readers toward deeper apprehension of Christ and faithful obedience to the heavenly vision. Transcribed conference messages from.
