The Westminster Larger Catechism

The Westminster Larger Catechism

The Westminster Assembly of Divines was a council of theologians and members of Parliament that met at Westminster from 1643 to 1653 to settle the doctrine and government of the Church of England. Its 121 divines, joined by Scottish commissioners, produced the documents that bear its name: our library holds the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, standards of Presbyterian churches ever since.
