About this book

Tozer explores the soul’s thirst for God, opening with Psalm 63:8 and the paradox that God first draws us, yet calls us to pursue Him. Across reflections on Scripture, he urges readers to surrender possessiveness, seek personal knowledge of God, attend to His presence and voice, and restore the right relation between Creator and creature. He calls for a life wholly offered to God, in ordinary acts as well as worship.
