Calvinism in History

Nathaniel Smyth McFetridge (1842–1886) was an Irish-born American Presbyterian minister. Raised in Pennsylvania, he studied at Lafayette College and at Western Theological Seminary, where A. A. Hodge was among his teachers. He pastored in Oil City and then at Wakefield Presbyterian Church in Germantown, Philadelphia. His Calvinism in History (1882), in our library, began as six lectures tracing Calvinism's influence on the nations.
