A Child of Light Walking in Darkness

A Child of Light Walking in Darkness

Thomas Goodwin (1600–1680), called 'the Elder,' was an English Puritan theologian and a leading Independent. A member of the Westminster Assembly, he served as president of Magdalen College, Oxford, and as chaplain to Oliver Cromwell. Goodwin's works combine deep doctrine with tender pastoral application; our library holds The Heart of Christ, Christ Set Forth, his exposition of Ephesians, and many volumes of his collected Works.
