Archibald Alexander (1772–1851) was an American Presbyterian theologian and the first professor of Princeton Theological Seminary. After serving as president of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, he shaped Princeton's warm, experiential Calvinism from 1812 until his death, training a generation of Presbyterian ministers. Our library holds his Thoughts on Religious Experience, Evidences of the Christian Religion, Outlines of Moral Science, and A Brief Compend of Bible Truth.
